As you’ll see, there was quite a bit more here that wasn’t used in the star trails composite. This time lapse shows the moonrise, clouds streaming into view, and beginning of twilight. The shots used were taken between 12:40 AM until 5:30 AM Mountain Time on August 12, 2009. If you watch very closely you’ll be able to see quite a few meteors.
