It’s so easy to wander off in all sorts of directions, becoming distracted by all sorts of things and right now that is exactly what I’m doing I’m taking a little time out to make sure I’m on the path I want to be on. I’m going within where everything is so clear and simple so that I can continue on the path that feels right to me. I can never be afraid of my own truth, my truth is all that I have and only I know what feels right in my heart and all I know is that I have to follow it no matter what. I am making lots of changes at the moment and it feels incredible. I feel I am back on track. Love, Peace and Freedom to all of you!!!! www.theopenmind.org All cameras capture “a moment in time,” but the Casio EX-FC150 can not only capture more moments than most, it can go back in time and grab the moment you actually wanted when you pressed the shutter button. With a 5x zoom and a backlit 10-megapixel sensor, the Casio EX-FC150 has even more tricks up its sleeve, including the ability to capture up to 40 frames per second at 9-megapixels, and high-speed video capture ranging from 120 to 1,000 frames per second! The FC150 will also help you in low light situations where you’d normally have to crank up the ISO into fuzzy-image territory: Just switch to High… (read more) ![]() Tracie Taylor Photography posted a photo: For the very first time Angel described his pain at a 10 out of 10. As of this moment it’s been 500 days, 10 hours, 53 minutes and 5 seconds since Angles transplant surgery. He has never once claimed his pain at anything over a 9. His little body is hurting so badly. Tonight pray for Angels pain to subside. Pray for his team of doctors and medical professionals that they use their skills and faith in helping Angel through these painfully crucial moments. Please God, bring Angel comfort. Amen. Hope for Angel Apple’s stock price has hit an all-time high today, surging over 4% at the moment to top $207 per share. The peak eclipses Apple’s previous high set in late December 2007. Apple’s stock subsequently sank to a low of under $80 per share in late 2008… I just got bumped up to one of The Standard Examiner’s Top of Utah Voices columnists. Exciting, yes? Unfortunately, along with the paycheck comes some serious pressure. Not only do I have to continue my weekly tirade, but I need an additional monthly column that’s at least 100 words longer, and “takes a stance”. Takes a stance? On what? I’m suddenly worried that I have to have an opinion, and what if I can’t think of one? Is it bad that I’m kind of shallow, and my best opinions seem to pertain to late night television and toilet training? The only topic I can seem to come up with at the moment is fruit. Fruit is good. More people should eat it. The end. And the very title, “Top of Utah Voices”, does that mean that we live at the top of Utah, like the north part? Or does it mean I’m supposed to spout off louder than anyone else, in a King of the Hill kind of way? So here’s where I beg and plead. I need some topics that could be funny but also stancey. Please, anything you’ve got I will happily consider. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go have some fruit and pray a little. Again. ![]() dakota.morrison posted a photo: The number of photos I’m shooting each day is mind blowing — exceeded only by the number of unbelievable scenes that remain only in my memory because I do not have a fraction of the skill (patience or equipment) necessary to capture. Lesson from the road #1: * Learn to love the shots that got away more than the ones that you captured. The moments are more beautiful than the photographs and live in yout memory forever. Accept this. And you will shake that feeling of loss you have when you miss a shot. You gain the moment. *note: there may or may not be more lessons to follow ![]() EdinburghGary posted a photo: One of my favourite places in the entire country, it NEVER fails to impress. Had my iPhone handy and decided to document the moment. The sad thing is that someone on Facebook said they remember the look well. Oh dear. I hope I don’t always look so resigned… Promised someone I’d upload, even if only briefly. |
