There is a gap that grows with each passing day where I can’t talk to him about football, music, his crosswords, Noah. God, I hate how much he’s missed regarding Noah. The distance is everlasting, it will continue to widen; this force urges me to let go and live that new life where he has no influence, where he can no longer lead with his guidance, where the only impact he makes is his memory. There is a gap in which I struggle with the juxtaposition of grasping tightly to each day so this distance between time and memory ceases to widen, yet I beg for time to pass more quickly so the distance may lessen the pain. Yet, I realized this week that the pain has not lessened. The pain is still so strong. The pain was unbearable the other night as Paul held me in his arms while I cried and cried. But the pain is less frequent. The pain does not take over the many hours and days it once did. So time has helped. And I cannot remain in the past. I must ally myself with time. I must let go and trust in what tomorrow brings. ************************************************************** There Are Such Things ~ Frank Sinatra www.tsrocks.com/f/frank_sinatra_texts/there_are_such_thin… A heart that’s true, there are such things A dream for two, there are such things Someone to whisper “Darling you’re my guiding star” Not caring what you own but just what you are A peaceful sky, there are such things A rainbow high where heaven sings So have a little faith and trust in what tomorrow brings You’ll reach a star because there are such things So have a little faith and trust in what tomorrow brings You’ll reach a star because there are such things One of the more popular digital camera categories to emerge over the past few years was pioneered by the Panasonic ZS7 ’s predecessors: a pocket digital camera with a surprisingly long zoom. The Panasonic ZS7 continues to impress, with a 12.1-megapixel sensor and a 12x optical zoom, a high-res 3-inch LCD, full PASM exposure modes, and a new GPS feature to help jog your memory of where you were when you took all those vacation shots. Capable of 720p HD video as well, the Panasonic ZS7 is indeed an excellent travel companion for stills and video, and its 25-300mm equivalent zoom range gives… (read more) ![]() dakota.morrison posted a photo: The number of photos I’m shooting each day is mind blowing — exceeded only by the number of unbelievable scenes that remain only in my memory because I do not have a fraction of the skill (patience or equipment) necessary to capture. Lesson from the road #1: * Learn to love the shots that got away more than the ones that you captured. The moments are more beautiful than the photographs and live in yout memory forever. Accept this. And you will shake that feeling of loss you have when you miss a shot. You gain the moment. *note: there may or may not be more lessons to follow ![]() |sumsion| posted a photo: This is my brother Chris’ cat Grace. She suffered from kidney failure and Chris and the vet decided keeping her alive would just be torture for her. I’m sorry Chris. :/ (Oh…this was taken by Chris.)
