In addition to its 12.2-megapixel sensor, 4.6x zoom lens, and high-res, widescreen LCD, the Samsung DualView TL225 also has a front-facing low-res LCD screen that’s ideal for the ever-popular self-portrait. Concealed beneath the Samsung TL225’s translucent dark front cover, the small LCD shines through with a tap on the front face, allowing you to see yourself and prove that you were with your friend at a famous landmark — or else just out having fun. Unlike some of Samsung’s DualView digital cameras, the TL225 also has a touchscreen interface and an impressively high-resolution LCD. And to listen to music. —- I had the opportunity to shoot my friend Suzy on Monday. You can visit her at www.suzyeaton.com . Go check out her awesome food styling, product styling, propping, and set decorating. You can find her on Flickr also. ![]() |sumsion| posted a photo: [+big] Every now and then I get to add something to my “i like” set. This one goes there. I feel like I’m finally getting the point of being able to shoot the ideas that exist in my head – thanks to the new camera and lenses. (And thanks to tt for convincing me that I really would love this setup. Oh…I do…) This was shot Monday morning in Idaho. I was able to shoot my friend’s son and daughter, along with their instruments. Her son plays the cello, and her daughter plays the violin. (That’s what she’s holding.) I have lots of shots from today, but this has to be my favorite. It’s candid-ish, the wind was blowing, and everything just seemed to fall into place. Shot in monochrome. Well propably you know it already, because she has uploaded wonderful photos of our shootings as well – Solarina ! She hosted my friend Cahy and me over the weekend and we had a great time. She even showed us the most amazing photo locations. So expect more amazing shots to come up from our shootings! This is a collaboration with Cathy . Taken by her, modeled and processed by me. I was freezing!! But it was worth the shot, I think. ![]() |sumsion| posted a photo: Pictures like this make me happy. Or happier. Depends, I guess. This is my friend K. Isn’t she cute? Her entire family is, so it just makes sense. I’m spending a lot more of my photography time with people. I have some ideas. Now I just need to figure them out and pull them off. I learned fun stuff today while playing caddy to a real photographer. I’m excited to see how they turn out. |
