On occasion I have found
As I’ve wandered through the endless
That others who pass my way
May often regard my presence
As a distraction, as if to say
That my straying is but an annoyance
To their otherwise peaceful struggle

I cannot say whether it is the case now
Of the two of our paths having been crossed
But I understand the simple felicity
Of being here after having been lost
