I Get the Feeling That Someone Has Been Here

I stayed too long. I mentioned in an earlier post that I walked quite a distance to get to the water. I was enjoying it too much and stayed a bit too long. As it started to get dark (quickly) I realized that I wasn’t going to be able to find the best path back to my car. Then I realized that if I kept walking I would eventually come across my own footprints in the sand. I walked, and walked, and walked, and it just kept getting darker and darker for some reason.

At this point you can interject something about a flashlight. Don’t worry, I was a boy scout. Always prepared. I did have a flashlight. In the car.

Anyway, I finally came across my footprints, which I verified were actually mine. That would have been spooky if there was somebody else out there with size 12s. They led me to where I was needing to go.

Oh…and this is definitely not sooc. Are you kidding? It was dark.
