There’s nothing quite as peaceful and refreshing as a morning drive (or ride) through a beautiful place that you’ve never seen before. This place, this morning, was Stirling, Scotland. It was me and the cows, and they didn’t care that I was there.

This is a shot that I gave up on originally. I was excited about it at first because the views were really amazing. However, my meager stitching techniques were leaving much to be desired, so I gave up. Today I was looking through my archives, as I’ve been doing often lately, and came across this again. I gave it another try, and I’m happy with the results.

This is a six exposure HDR vertorama. Three exposures for the top half and three more for the bottom. Stitched in Photoshop CS3.

Some of you have asked about my leg. I appreciate your concern. Yesterday was the first day since April 7th that I had no pain. That makes me happy and, well, pain-free. It hurts today, but that’s ok. It’s getting better now, and seems to be improving quickly. I no longer have a boot but have an aircast instead. A couple more weeks and I’ll be able to play basketball again! In fact, I’ve been able to get on my road bike for the past two days straight. It’s been six weeks without my bike.

Yay for me!
